Don't buy it and move on. IMHO it's always been more of an Adventure Tourer, not and Off Road Adventure motorcycle. Honda did cut corners on this bike to keep it at a price point but they didn't market it as something it's not. They didn't call it the XL750 Dakar Rally, it's the Transalp, like always. The engine is very well “balanced” — producing a modest claimed 55 hp (though a dyno-tested ~40 hp at the wheel), it’s not a 100 hp screamer like the CBR600F, nor underpowered for fast American highways like a 250cc Ninja.
